Your birth details stay with you

Every calculation on this site runs in your own browser. The date, time and place you enter are not sent to our server or to analytics. A shared link carries the details in the part of the address after the #. Browsers never send that part to a server, so only the people you share the link with can see them. Names are never put in links.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which sections are used. It collects:

• the section viewed (for example “KaalChakra” or “Janma tithi”), never the birth details in the address;
• actions such as calculating a tithi, playing the KaalChakra wheels or copying a link;
• general information Google derives from your visit: approximate region, device, browser and how you arrived.

Google Analytics stores cookies such as _ga to tell visits apart. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland start with these cookies turned off, and visitors in European time zones are asked before any are set. Google’s use of the data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Other services the site calls

• Place search: the name you type is sent to the Open-Meteo geocoding service to find the place.
• Fonts: the page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.
• Hosting: the site is served by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs.

Advertising

The site shows no advertising today. If advertising is added later, this page will be updated first, and visitors will be asked before any advertising cookies are set where the law requires it.

Your browser storage

The site remembers a few settings in your browser’s local storage: the kundali language, the ayanamsa, the calculation method and your analytics choice. Clearing the site’s data in your browser removes them.
